ITL News Release
KGC Channel Liner
ITL installed a liner over a channel between two water storage/containment areas at Kogarah Gold Club. The ground was porous and had the potential for saltwater contamination from the Cooks River during king tides.
The channel width was greater than the standard 4m width of the ITM902-200 geofabric membrane. The sections were joined on site, using Leister Twinny wedge welder and sealed using ITM TC42 membrane; the finished liner being the installed ITM Liner™. The joins were tested onsite using Leister Examo test unit.
The channel was allowed to cure for 24 hours before ready for use. The attached case Study provides an illustration of the installation process in the channel.
