HTR365 Stabiliser Additive

HTR365 is a water-based polymer solution specifically developed as a binder for the stabilisation of base course and or subgrade layers of pavements; the depth being dependant on the traffic and pavement life requirements.

HTR365 Characteristics

  • Through compaction, it coats and binds granular material
  • Increases the modulus strength of pavement
  • Increased tensile strength, yet flexible
  • Increase fatigue life of the pavement by binding rather than cementitious action
  • Exceeds minimum UCS 0.8MPa for pavement design
  • Reduces material requirements and construction time

HTR365 Benefits

  • Environment friendly - will not leach
  • Water based - will not contaminate bowsers and tanks
  • No requirement for specialised clothing or equipment
  • Utilises existing road construction equipment
  • Testing of varying aggregate material gives 4-10 fold increase in strength and bearing capability
  • Increases fatigue life of wearing course
  • Increases the cycle time for pavement maintenance
  • Reduces material quantity requirements for pavement bearing capability

Pavement Design

  • Test geotechnical properties of proposed material to determine HTR365 application rate to satisfy pavement design criteria
  • Designers can use HTR365 ability to bind varying materials to reduce the requirement for specialist (costly) material in pavement construction or rehabilitation
  • HTR365 can increase the strength and fatigue life of material and thereby reduce the amount of material to be used in base and subgrade layers
  • Test data available for varying materials required to meet design life and load requirements.
