The PMC Liner System* is a polymer modified cementitous geocoating (PCS-3LV) over a range of specified geotextiles and geocomposites. These can range from very strong fibreglass reinforced to non woven polypropylenes. It has been designed for installation in tough working environments.
Being robust and damage resistant, the PMC Liner System is naturally UV resistant with no discernible methods of degradation (owing to its high inorganic content); it is trafficable with excellent tear, burst and puncture resistance results reflecting real world situations for livestock and kangaroo resistance; and exhibits exceptional fire resistance (is self extinguishing). It does not require replacement as it can be recoated with relatively low repair and maintenance costs compared with polyolefins, such as HDPE, etc
The PCs-3LV geocoating with its high inorganic content provides good abrasion resistance. Should there be any mechanical damage or loss of coating thickness, the affected area is cleaned and the PCS-3LV is reapplied. This is a distinct advantage to the asset owner over competing liner materials, delivering long term, durable and robust liner solution.
